Want to try sweeeeet onigiri?
OSEKIHAN, or literally red rice, is a special dish eaten all over Japan at times of celebration, made by cooking mochi rice together with red beans. They are usually ate with GOMASHIO, sesami and salt.
However, here in Aomori, OSEKIHAN is cooked with sugar!
You can have a try of this sweet onigiri at convenience stores (I found this at a Lawson), so check out this local speciality!
